Built into our thorough coaching process is the flexibility to guide each individual through a unique set of challenges.

Although our coaching is tailored to individual traits, skills, and tendencies, the steps we follow in the coaching process remain the same.

Formulating goals for coaching: We work with the individual to understand and assimilate all information and then develop one to three specific goals that, if met, will make a significant difference in the person's effectiveness, satisfaction or career advancement.

Facilitating a three-way discussion: Once tentative goals have been formulated, we typically organize a three-way discussion with the individual and his/her manager to discuss the individual's coaching goals and the manager's role in the individual's ongoing development.

Ongoing coaching: Coaching sessions include a mix of regularly scheduled sessions and calls or meetings spontaneously scheduled to plan for and discuss situations the individuals is or will soon be addressing. While our initial work with individuals usually takes place face-to-face, we also often work by phone.

Evaluating Progress: Toward the end of our coaching contract, we usually loop back with a select group of the initial 360 participants and conduct short phone interviews to ask about observed changes and continued opportunities. This can provide the individual with a clearer sense of the degree to which they are increasing their effectiveness and modifying their personal brand.

Ending/continuing/follow up: Depending on the individual's success in reaching his or her coaching goals, the coaching may end when the initial agreement has been completed. Some individuals choose to extend their coaching. With all individuals, we are open to periodic calls for discussion and consultation.
